Wednesday, January 24, 12-1pm: Research on Cross
Cultural Multi-Dimensionality: Investigations into
Multi-Dimensional Consciousness and Healing Practices of
Australia Aborigines, New Zealand Maori, Peruvian
Shamans and South African Sangomas, a presentation
by Mary Jo Bulbrook, Ph.D., a local medical intuitive,
gifted energy healer, psychotherapist and teacher. From
20 years of research, experience, and sharing among the
peoples of these four countries, Dr. Bulbrook has
identified core commonalities of multi-dimensionality
including spiritual communication, subtle energy and
health, humans and nature. In this respect, she will be
discussing possible multi-organization research with the
Rhine Center and teaching efforts into investigations of
multi-dimensional consciousness research on health and
healing. Dr. Bulbrook's background hospice work started
in 1976, helping launch Hospice of Salt Lake, and
Director of Training and coordinator of Virginia Satir's
international training network. She is the founder and
director of an international Energy Medicine Program
where her grounded theory approach in partnership with
traditional healers helped enrich our understanding of
the healing process.
Wednesday, January 31, 12-1pm: Psychic Addiction -
Both Sides of the Coin, a presentation by Dr. John

2006 memoir "Psychic Junkie," which details her
multi-year addiction or over-dependency on seeking the
help of psychics in the California area. Based on an
interview with Sarah Lassez about her book, this
presentation provides an open and in-depth look at her
experience, the nature of her dependency, and her
recovery. Additional material will be presented from
reputable psychic practitioners to provide a balanced
perspective of how one should go about seeking help from
practitioners in the field.

and is nationally/internationally recognized with many

psychological and socio-cuultural foundations of health,
and within more innovative areas such as behavioral
medicine, "women's health," mind/body medicine and
"integrative" medicine. She co-founded Instiute for
Research on Women's Health in 1983, the American College

INTUITIVE MEDICAL
DIAGNOSIS:
Historical, Research and
Experiential Perspectives
A Presentation by Larry Burk, MD
Friday, February 23, 7:30-9pm
Larry Burk, MD, President of the Rhine Research
Center Board of Directors is a musculoskeletal
radiologist who has worked with a number of
local and national medical intuitives. Dr. Burk
was former Director of Education at the Duke
Center for Integrative Medicine, and is now
President of Healing Imager, Inc., in the
private practice of teleradiology. He has made
presentations on intuitive diagnosis at the NIH,
the Parapsychological Association and the
American Holistic Medical Association. Larry has
been interested in this subject since Caroline
Myss did a reading on one of his MRI patients in
1992. In 2001, he did a small pilot research
project with John Palmer, Ph.D., at the Rhine
Research Center, testing seven local intuitives.
This presentation will consist of an
historical overview, a summary of research
studies, and a brief introduction to the
experience of intuitive diagnosis for the
audience through a partnered exercise.
The fee for this presentation is: $20 General
Admission, $15 Member, Student, and Senior.
To Register: Call 919-309-4600, ext. 201
between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, or

QUANTUM
TOUCH HEALING
Conducted by Pat and Tom Connolly
Saturday, March 3, 9:30am - 3:30pm
"Quantum-Touch represents a major breakthrough
in the art of hands-on healing. Whether you are
a complete novice, a professional chiropractor,
physical therapist, body worker, healer, or
other health professional, Quantum-Touch allows
you a dimension of power in your work that
heretofore has not seemed possible. Through the
use of video and live demonstrations you will be
taught to use special breathing and body
focusing techniques to raise your energy level
so high that with a slight touch, you can see
postural corrections spontaneously occur as
bones gently glide back into their correct
alignment. Beyond this, pain and inflammation
are rapidly reduced and healing is profoundly
accelerated. The work is so easy that children
naturally learn to do it, yet so powerful it is
endorsed by physicians, acupuncturists and
chiropractors. Since the body already knows how
to heal itself, the practitioner need only apply
the energy to the effected areas. For the
millions suffering from neck or back pain, this
may be the safest, fastest and most effective
treatment ever discovered."
The fee for this workshop is: $50 Non-Member; and
$45 Member, Student, and Senior; at the Rhine
Research Center.
Attendance is restricted to 20
participants, so we recommend registering early.
